Warehouse Team member

A Warehouse Team Member is responsible for carrying out any role required of them within the warehouse environment. To assist in the overall receipt, production, and despatch of customers' orders. They are responsible for the overall processing of the customer orders efficiently and to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Assist in overall receipt, production, and despatch of customers' orders; process customer orders efficiently and work effectively as part of a team; pick customer orders via handheld terminal ensuring accuracy and no damage; work as per standards highlighted in training to maintain GDP requirements; achieve agreed productivity targets as instructed by warehouse team managers; report issues that may impact order accuracy, order fulfilment or quality to line management immediately; pick Medical Bulk, Fridge and Secure area orders according to specific criteria covered through training; ensure stock is put away as per criteria; accurately transfer stock from pallet or trolley into correct location; present stock correctly to location (pick face or reserve) as per work instructions; complete replenishment tasks as directed; complete short pick requests where trained and tasked; ensure tasks are completed in line with Health and Safety policies; keep working areas clean and tidy; complete all reasonable requests as directed by warehouse management team

Requirements

Understand the principles of Good Distribution Practice of Medical products for Human use (2013/C 343/01); be trained in SOP REF Chapter 1 NWOS GDP 1.1 and have annual refresher; complete other job-specific GDP training per personal training matrix
