X-Ray/DEXA Technologist

Responsibilities

Produce high-quality X-ray images with precision, compassion, and confidence; Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams with correct technique and positioning; Evaluate own images for technical quality and produce diagnostic-grade results; Maintain clean, complete, real-time documentation; Manage own workflow, keep room ready, and troubleshoot equipment issues; Adapt to a high-volume schedule and prioritize tasks under minimal supervision; Provide patients with proper positioning, procedure explanation, comfort, and safety; Maintain infection control standards; Mentor students and model best practices

Requirements

ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required; Valid state licensure current (where required); BLS certification current or in progress; Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program; Proficiency in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems; Working knowledge of ALARA and radiation safety principles; Strong communication skills with patients, physicians, and teammates; Ability to manage workflow with minimal supervision; Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture; Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams with correct technique and positioning; Evaluate own images for technical quality and produce diagnostic-grade results; Maintain clean, complete, real-time documentation; Manage workflow and troubleshoot equipment issues under minimal supervision; Provide patient care with proper positioning, explanation, comfort, and infection control

Nice to have

1-2 years of X-ray experience preferred; outpatient or ambulatory care experience a plus
