X-Ray/DEXA Technologist

From precise positioning to real-time image evaluation, this role ensures every exam meets the highest clinical standards.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams with correct technique and positioning; Evaluate images for technical quality; Maintain clean, complete, real-time documentation; Apply ALARA radiation safety principles; Manage own workflow and troubleshoot equipment issues; Adapt to high-volume schedule and prioritize tasks under minimal supervision; Provide patient care with proper positioning and explanations; Maintain infection control standards; Mentor students and model best practices

Requirements

ARRT certification in Radiography (R); Valid state licensure current (where required); BLS certification current or in progress; Associate's degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program; Proficiency in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems; Working knowledge of ALARA and radiation safety principles; Strong communication skills with patients, physicians, and teammates; Ability to manage workflow with minimal supervision; Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture

Nice to have

1–2 years of X-ray experience preferred; outpatient or ambulatory care experience a plus
