X-Ray Technologist Advanced

From precision X-ray imaging to IV contrast administration and collaboration with remote imaging teams, this role ensures every exam meets the highest clinical standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver advanced diagnostic excellence combining high-quality X-ray imaging with expanded clinical capabilities in CT and MRI support; Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams with precision; Support MRI and CT workflows including patient positioning and preparation; Start IVs and administer contrast in accordance with protocol; Maintain accurate documentation in RIS, PACS, and EMR systems; Apply radiation safety and infection control standards; Support onsite imaging needs and remote operations through collaboration with the ROCC; Coordinate patient flow and assist with complex cases; Screen patients for contraindications and ensure comfort; Guide students and less experienced technologists

Requirements

ARRT certification in Radiography (R); Valid state licensure (as applicable); BLS certification; Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent accredited program; Experience with venipuncture and IV contrast administration; 1–2 years of radiography experience (outpatient or hospital preferred); Proficiency in PACS, RIS, and EMR systems; Strong communication and patient care skills; Ability to manage workflow independently in a fast-paced environment
