Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations. This position will manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence and/or when working opposing shifts. The Assistant Manager will be expected to lead the store team members in servicing customers.

Responsibilities

Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers; Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom including team member execution on customer service programs; Work with store manager to ensure retail sales counter is adequately staffed during peak business hours; Assist store manager in setting team member goals, providing feedback, coaching/mentoring team members; Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy; Ensure buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders are processed timely and customers are contacted; Utilize electronic outside purchase order ledger to ensure special orders and outside purchases are handled efficiently; Ensure retail customer returns and exchanges are processed efficiently and refunds issued accurately; Ensure all merchandise including core charges and warranties are invoiced before product leaves the store; Ensure Zipline messages are communicated and Image Maker and merchandising tasks are delegated and completed; Make sure team members comply with company policies including work schedules and clocking procedures; Perform store opening/closing duties including day end procedures, securing money/deposits, preparing bank deposits, securing building, arming/disarming alarms, and securing delivery vehicles; Assist store manager in maintaining store building, parking lot, exterior signage/lighting, computer hardware, in-store service/test equipment, and delivery vehicles; All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Sales Specialist Training; Assistant Manager Certification; RSS Certification

Nice to have

Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
