Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations. This position will manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence and/or when working opposing shifts. The Assistant Manager will be expected to lead the store team members in servicing customers.

Responsibilities

Support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations; Manage the store during the Store Manager's absence or when working opposing shifts; Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers; Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom; Assist in setting team member goals, coaching/mentoring, and monitoring training; Assist in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks and participating in interviews; Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy; Ensure online orders and store transfers are processed in a timely manner; Ensure retail customer returns and exchanges are processed efficiently; Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store; Perform all store opening/closing duties; Assist store manager in maintaining the store building, parking lot, equipment, and delivery vehicles

Requirements

Sales Specialist Training; Assistant Manager Certification; RSS Certification

Nice to have

Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
