Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations. This position will manage the store during the Store Manager's absence and/or when working opposing shifts. The Assistant Manager will be expected to lead the store team members in servicing customers.

Responsibilities

Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers; Supervise customer service levels on retail showroom including team member execution on customer service programs; Ensure retail sales counter is adequately staffed during peak hours; Assist store manager in setting team member goals, providing feedback, coaching/mentoring; Assist in hiring process by recruiting, scheduling interviews, evaluating candidates; Ensure phone answered according to company policy; Ensure buy online/ship to store, hub and store transfers, and DC add orders processed timely; Utilize electronic outside purchase order ledger for special orders and outside purchases; Ensure retail customer returns and exchanges processed efficiently and refunds issued accurately; Ensure merchandise, core charges and warranties invoiced before product leaves store; Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks; Ensure team members comply with company policies; Perform store opening/closing duties including day end procedures, deposits, security; Assist store manager in maintaining store building, parking lot, signage, computer hardware, service/test equipment, delivery vehicles; All other duties as assigned

Requirements

Sales Specialist Training; Assistant Manager Certification; RSS Certification

Nice to have

Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
