Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations. This position will manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence and/or when working opposing shifts. The Assistant Manager will be expected to lead the store team members in servicing customers.

Responsibilities

Support the Store Manager in areas of sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations; Manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence and/or when working opposing shifts; Lead store team members in servicing customers; Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom; Assist the store manager in setting team member goals, providing feedback on goal achievement, coaching/mentoring team members, and ensuring team members are staying current on their individual training; Assist in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks, scheduling and participating in interviews, evaluating candidates, and collaborating with management; Ensure buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders are processed in a timely manner; Ensure retail customer returns and exchanges are processed efficiently and refunds are issued accurately; Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, is invoiced before product leaves the store; Perform all store opening/closing duties, including day end procedures, verifying/securing money/deposits, and securing the building; Assist the store manager in maintaining the store building, parking lot, exterior signage/lighting, computer hardware, in-store service/test equipment, and delivery vehicles; All other duties as assigned

Requirements

Sales Specialist Training; Assistant Manager Certification; RSS Certification

Nice to have

Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification; Bilingual candidates; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
