Business Development Manager

Conveniently located amongst Sydney’s CBD, Darling Harbour, Darling Square and ICC precincts at Novotel Sydney Darling Square we are on the hunt for a Business Development Manager to join our Sales & Marketing team.

Working alongside our Director of Sales and Marketing you will be drive our commercial strategies by playing a key role in growing our hotel’s corporate, leisure, group and events business.

Responsibilities

Identify and secure new business opportunities across corporate, leisure, group and events segments.; Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, corporate partners, agencies and local businesses.; Conduct client visits, sales calls, presentations, site inspections and networking activities.; Manage and grow existing accounts while actively seeking new business opportunities.; Contribute to achieving and exceeding revenue, occupancy and business development targets.

Requirements

Previous experience in business development, hotel sales or a similar commercial role.; Strong understanding of the hospitality and hotel market.; Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.; Confident communication, negotiation and presentation skills.; A proactive approach with a strong focus on identifying new opportunities.
