Civil Engineering Internship - Substation and Power Generation

As a summer 2027 engineering student intern with Olsson's Substation and Power Generation (Power Delivery) Team, you will perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career. Depending on your area of interest you could learn things like: CAD design processes and standards; physical arrangement and protection for medium voltage >1kV, high voltage >69,000V, and extra high voltage >230kV systems; substation structure and foundation design; interpreting geotechnical information; equipment mounting, basic steel member analysis, basic steel node analysis; basic foundation design principles and analysis.

Responsibilities
