Clinical Assistant Professor, Psychology

The School of Psychology at Xavier University invites applications for one full-time, non-tenure-track, faculty position at the Clinical Assistant Professor rank, beginning Fall 2027. The position will support our APA-accredited clinical psychology doctoral (Psy.D.) program and our undergraduate psychology major. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

Teaching 24 credit hours annually, which may include clinical supervision in the Psy.D. program; Service and additional departmental duties; Optional mentored research; Support the APA-accredited clinical psychology Psy.D. program and the undergraduate psychology major

Requirements

Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an APA-accredited clinical psychology, counseling psychology, or related program; Licensed or license-eligible in the state of Ohio (expectation of Ohio license within one year of hire)

Nice to have

Expertise in development, children, and/or adolescents; Capable of teaching and supervising cognitive assessment; Training in clinical neuropsychology, particularly as relates to the prior two needs
