Corporate Paralegal

A leading international law firm is seeking a Corporate Paralegal to join its highly regarded London office. This is an excellent opportunity for a Corporate Paralegal with an interest in mergers and acquisitions, private equity and corporate transactions to develop within one of the world’s most respected legal practices.

Responsibilities

Assisting on private equity, M&A and general corporate transactions; Preparing board minutes, written resolutions and corporate documentation; Conducting legal and corporate due diligence; Managing virtual data rooms and reviewing transaction documents; Preparing due diligence reports, closing checklists and transaction bibles; Supporting transaction signings, completions and post-completion requirements; Coordinating Companies House filings and maintaining statutory registers; Drafting correspondence and legal research notes; Liaising with clients, counterparties and external advisers; Assisting with business development materials and client presentations; Monitoring transaction deadlines and ensuring matters progress efficiently

Requirements

Law degree or equivalent legal qualification; Previous experience as a Corporate Paralegal, Legal Assistant or within a transactional legal team; A genuine interest in corporate law, M&A or private equity; Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines; A proactive and professional approach; Experience using Microsoft Office and legal document management systems

Nice to have

Experience with virtual data rooms or Companies House filings would be advantageous
