District Coordinator

Khan Academy India’s Schools Team is looking for motivated individuals to join our Telangana Team as District Coordinators to support implementation of the Khan Academy programme in government schools across different districts in Telangana. In this role, you will work closely with school management, and teachers to ensure effective adoption and usage of the Khan Academy platform. You will report to the Senior Program Lead and play a key role in on-ground execution and support. Please note that this role will be serving one district mentioned as base location, and additionally will serve 1-2 nearby districts as well. More details can be shared in the introduction call. This is a 12-months contract role.

Support programme implementation at the district level; Work closely with district stakeholders; Drive strong on-ground implementation through intensive school visits; Gather insights and support data-driven decisions; Documentation and coordination; Support Overall Programme Operations

Requirements

2–4 years of relevant work experience; Fluent in Telugu and English (reading, speaking, and writing); Strong collaborative mindset with an ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders including district officials, school leaders, and teachers; Able to navigate through on-ground implementation challenges and make informed decisions aligned with programme goals; Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a variety of tasks across multiple schools simultaneously; Excellent ability to document information from multiple sources and present it in a consumable format for others; Comfortable working with data – able to track usage, identify trends, and draw insights to improve implementation; comfortable using qualitative feedback to inform actions; Great communicator – able to engage effectively with different audiences including teachers and government stakeholders, and communicate clearly across formats; Quick learner – immerses in new environments and quickly gets up to speed; Ownership mindset and bias toward action, with willingness to solve problems on the ground; Willing to roll up sleeves and help the team get work done; Passionate about education and have a strong desire to improve student learning outcomes; Comfortable being based out of Telangana and traveling extensively to visit all assigned schools on a weekly basis
