Lead Technician- Bolt Torquing & Tensioning || KSA

The Lead Technician is responsible for independently and as part of a team carrying out bolt torquing, tensioning, and related maintenance activities in oil & gas, petrochemical, and process plant environments. Ensures safe, efficient, and leak-free operations while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

- Execute hydraulic, pneumatic, and manual bolt torquing and hydraulic bolt tensioning.

- Perform nut splitting, flange spreading, and alignment tasks.

- Select, set up, and maintain tools and consumables for each job.

- Follow work instructions to achieve correct torque/tension values and sequences.

- Maintain accurate job records and complete flange tightening reports.

- Troubleshoot issues like damaged threads, fasteners, or gasket failures.

- Coordinate with technicians, supervisors, and client representatives on site activities.

- Uphold safety protocols, including PPE usage and hazard awareness.

- Conduct routine maintenance on bolting tools and report malfunctions.

Requirements

Education: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.; Experience: Minimum 4+ years in bolt torquing & tensioning; GCC and refinery/petrochemical plant experience preferred.; Skills:; Proficiency in hydraulic & pneumatic torquing/tensioning.; Problem-solving in bolted connection issues.; Strong documentation and reporting ability.; Effective communication in Hindi and English .; Other: Commitment to safety and quality; ability to work in fast-paced shutdown environments.
