Responsibilities

Tutor K-8 students through personalized one-on-one math instruction; Explain math concepts in ways students can easily understand; Encourage problem-solving and critical thinking; Build students' confidence and celebrate their progress; Create a positive, engaging learning environment; Track student progress using curriculum and resources; Build positive relationships with students and families

Requirements

Friendly; dependable; enjoys working with kids; wants to make a positive impact; enjoys helping others learn; strong foundation in math; communicates clearly and patiently; responsible and dependable; loves encouraging and motivating younger students; currently in high school (16+) or college, or has a high school diploma; can work 2-4 shifts per week

Nice to have
