Parts Specialist

The Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service. This position will also support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service; Support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks; Follow and promote all company customer service programs (Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot, etc.); Promptly greet retail/walk-in customers and assist them in their selection of merchandise; Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving professional customers; Complete assigned company training; Provide excellent service to customers calling the store by answering calls, looking up parts, quoting prices, recommending premium and related items, and offering the Low-Price Guarantee; Maintain and secure cash drawer, process cash/checks/credit card transactions; Process exchanges and returns; Address and resolve customer complaints; Assist with daily image maker and planogram updates, freight receiving, stocking shelves, fronting and facing, cleaning; Perform daily operational tasks including preparing merchandise returns to the distribution center, stock adjustments, inventory cycle counts; Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after training; Perform in-store services for customers (install wipers, test and charge batteries, test charging system, scan vehicle trouble codes, replace headlight capsules); Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate; Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences; Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service; Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time; Driving record must meet the company mandated driving eligibility requirements

Nice to have

Bilingual candidates; Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service; ASE certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
