Parts Specialist

The Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service. This position will also support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

Provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service; Support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks; Follow and promote all company customer service programs; Promptly greet retail/walk-in customers and assist them in merchandise selection; Assist managers and installer service specialists in serving professional customers; Complete assigned company training; Provide excellent service to phone customers, accurately look up parts and quote prices, recommend premium and related items, and offer the Low-Price Guarantee; Maintain and secure cash drawer, accept cash and checks, make change, and process credit card transactions; Process exchanges and returns; Address and resolve customer complaints; Assist with daily image maker and planogram updates, including freight receival, stocking shelves, fronting and facing, and cleaning; Perform daily operational tasks such as preparing returns, monthly stock adjustments, and inventory cycle counts; Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after training; Perform in-store services for customers where allowed; Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate; Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences; Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service; Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time

Nice to have

Bilingual candidates encouraged; Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service; ASE certification; Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
