Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant - Autism Provision

Pink Tile Education is supporting a well-established SEND school in Gosport that caters for pupils with Autism, ADHD, Speech and Language Needs and moderate learning difficulties. The school is seeking a passionate Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026 and support pupils both academically and emotionally.

Responsibilities

Providing classroom support for pupils with SEND; Delivering targeted interventions under teacher guidance; Supporting communication, social skills and emotional wellbeing; Building positive relationships with pupils and staff; Assisting with behaviour support and learning engagement; Supporting pupils to achieve positive educational outcomes

Requirements

Psychology graduate or final-year Psychology student; Strong interest in SEND and additional learning needs; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Empathy, patience and a willingness to learn; Enhanced DBS check registered on Update Service or willingness to obtain one

Previous experience supporting children or vulnerable individuals
