Our Operations & Industry Solutions team is looking for a Public Sector Transformation Analyst/ Consultant to join our Wellington team!

Responsibilities

The team you’ll join:; Our team works alongside the private sector to optimise operational performance and drive transformative change drawing on Deloitte’s business expertise, technology capabilities and deep industry and sector insights.; We are a rapidly growing team currently looking for talented people to join our Wellington-based team. We are fair in our behaviours and our policies promote equal opportunity for all.; What will your typical day look like?; Support the design of future operating models, transformation initiatives and implementation roadmaps that help organisations achieve their strategic objectives.; Conduct analysis to identify improvement opportunities, define key problems and develop practical, evidence-based recommendations.; Contribute to the development of business cases, investment proposals, project plans and presentation materials to support client decision-making.; Analyse and redesign business processes and service delivery models, helping improve organisational performance, productivity and customer outcomes.; Support programme and project mobilisation and delivery activities, including planning, governance, stakeholder engagement and benefits tracking.; Work collaboratively with business and technical teams to translate operational requirements into practical solutions.; Assist in the preparation of workshops, meetings and executive briefings, presenting insights and recommendations to a range of stakeholders.; Explore how digital, data and AI-enabled solutions can improve service delivery, organisational performance and operational effectiveness.

Requirements

Enough about us, let's talk about you. You are someone with:; Up to 2 years' experience gained within professional services, central government, Crown entities, local government and/or other public sector organisations.; Experience supporting transformation initiatives, including operating model design, service redesign, process improvement, business case development and/or project delivery.; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to define problems, identify key issues and develop practical recommendations.; Proven ability to work collaboratively across stakeholders, business teams and technical specialists to deliver outcomes.; The ability to understand business and operational challenges and translate requirements into practical solutions.; Confidence communicating with and presenting to a range of stakeholders, supported by strong written and verbal communication skills.; Experience working with digital technologies, data solutions and emerging technologies, including AI, to improve organisational performance and service delivery.; Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and contribute positively within a team environment.
