Reconciliation Specialist - Wealth Operations

The main purpose of this job is to execute the reconciliation of general to medium range accounting activities.

Responsibilities

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation responsibilities in a timely and accurate manner; Execute the reconciliation of general to medium range accounting activities, including processes for multiple business line product offerings, General Ledger Accounts, house accounts, shadow accounts, position reconciliations and other various banking activities; Ensure all aged items are researched and resolved in an effective and efficient manner according to the aged item parameters; Resolve general reconciliation issues to limit financial liability and exposure to the organization; Ensure all reconciliation processes meet procedural requirements; Participate in process reviews to identify or recognize opportunities to enhance reconciliation processes procedures on various job functions; Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

General knowledge of banking products and services; General knowledge of accounting functions; Intermediate analytical and problem-solving skills to research and resolve discrepancies; Ability to perform reconciliations effectively while assessed on timeliness, accuracy, and proactive resolution of outstanding expectations; Ability to utilize intermediate problem-solving techniques to research and resolve discrepancies; Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities; Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values; Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook; Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required

Nice to have

2+ years Financial Services Industry related experience preferred; Experience in account reconciliations preferred
