Registered Behavior Technician - Monroe, CT

Are you passionate about helping individuals reach their full potential and ready to make a meaningful impact? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing team! This position involves working one-on-one with a client to support skill development, communication, and independence using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. As an RBT, you will provide individualized ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Responsibilities

Implement individualized ABA treatment plans under BCBA supervision; Collect and record accurate session data; Support skill development and behavior-reduction goals; Maintain professionalism and positive rapport with clients and families; Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities related to ABA and special education

Requirements

Current RBT Certification; CPR Certification; Understanding of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices; Pass a background check

Nice to have

Previous experience working with children or individuals with special needs; Experience with data collection and familiarity with ABA terminology; Experience with behavior management strategies and applied behavior analysis techniques; A background in special education, psychology, or a related field
