Retail Salesperson Wairoa - Full Time

Engage and advise our shareholders, connect with your community and grow at Farmlands with this amazing opportunity at our Wairoa store! We're looking for someone to join the team at our Wairoa store working 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Providing retail sales and customer service to our shareholders; Advising customers on a range of sheep and beef, dry stock and general agricultural products; Operating a point of sale (POS) system; Completing administrative tasks such as ordering and receipting of stock; Restocking and displaying our products

Requirements

Experience or background in the farming sector, with an interest in sheep and beef, dry stock and general agricultural products; Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with a wide range of customers; Retail sales or customer service experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment; Sound computer skills, with confidence using point-of-sale systems and basic administrative tools; The ability to carry out the physical requirements of the role, including regular manual handling and lifting and carrying items up to 25 kg; Legal right to work in New Zealand

Nice to have

Valid forklift licence; Current first aid certificate
