Senior Manager, Project Manager

Appnovation is the AI Product Company, headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, with teams around the world. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multi-functional teams in consulting, designing, developing, training and supporting digital transformation and digital marketing solutions for clients around the world.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage multiple complex projects concurrently; Work closely with strategists, developers, architects, product managers, designers, and client representatives to define direction, approach and requirements for discovery, design and execution; Participate in the pre-sales process (opportunity management, oversee and run pre-sales teams to create responses to RFPs, estimates, etc.); Manage project budgets and maintain costs within or under budget; Analyze profitability, revenue, margins, and utilization across projects; Determine project schedules, create detailed project plans and scope statements, and write status reports for each stage; Estimate and track project costs, develop resource plans, and assess potential issues and risks; Define project management policies and ensure their implementation in all stages of a project; Develop impact assessments, statements of work, and other project documentation; Grow long-term client relationships and capitalize on add-on sales opportunities; Provide leadership and guidance to project team members and other Delivery team members; Identify and recommend process improvements in project delivery

Requirements

10+ years of Project Management experience in a digital agency, professional services or consulting environment, with a focus on managing large client-facing project teams and budgets; Comfortable working with clients and discussing technical and business requirements; Excellent organizational and time management skills, and able to communicate project details; Able to estimate project costs, set deadlines, and effectively manage teams of professionals to meet deadlines; Experience managing projects with substantial logistics, complexity and budgets in excess of $1M; Excellent English written and verbal communication skills with the proven ability to effectively communicate across different levels of the organization; Preferably located in or close to Vancouver or Toronto; An excellent working background with Agile and Waterfall methodologies; Understanding of client business requirements, and the ability to present them in a form which is comprehensible to business users and technical professionals; Fundamentally driven by ensuring good process and able to adapt different approaches and methodologies; Exceptional planning, organizational and problem-solving skills; Able and keen to work in a very fast paced, growth environment

Nice to have

Business analysis and requirements management experience; A technical background with a solid understanding of, or hands-on experience with, software engineering, including mobile development, web development or multi-tech platform implementation; Project Management and/or Scrum Master certifications; Experience project managing health science related applications and solutions
