Senior National Account Manager

An exciting opportunity to join one of Europe’s leading premium Bakery manufacturers as Senior National Account Manager is now available. The business has a glowing reputation across the industry and has been recognised by this through a number of industry and supplier awards. Globally the business turns over in excess of €500m. Within the UK the business has achieved national distribution across the Retail, Wholesale and Foodservice channels. Their product range includes premium Viennoiseries, Breads & Pastries. Following an internal promotion, they are now seeking an ambitious Senior NAM to join the team. As a Senior National Account Manager, you will take full responsibility of a major premium retail customer account. Reporting into the Sales Director you will work closely with the NPD, Marketing and Category teams. You will have full P&L responsibility, develop a joint business plans whilst ensuring delivery of agreed KPIs.

Requirements

Currently operating in a Retail Account Management role; Passionate individual with a genuine interest in food and current market trends; Strong negotiator; Good understanding of the NPD process

Nice to have

Current exposure to a M&S, Sainsbury’s or Waitrose account; Bakery experience would be preferred
