Senior Rehabilitation Consultant

We are seeking an experienced injury management professional to join our Perth team. Leverage your clinical expertise to support and guide your clients on their journey back to work and life after physical or psychological injury. You will play a key role in helping clients achieve their rehabilitation goals through a holistic approach.

Responsibilities

Leverage clinical expertise to support and guide clients on their journey back to work and life after physical or psychological injury; Play a key role in helping clients achieve rehabilitation goals through a holistic approach; Gain a detailed understanding of clients’ injury history through initial needs assessments; Conduct a variety of assessments and screening tools such as worksite assessments, job task analysis, ergonomic assessments and ADLs to support development short-term and long-term rehabilitation goals; Collaborate with other health practitioners through case conferencing to facilitate rehabilitation and recovery needs; Facilitate a progressive return-to-work through tailored planning

Requirements

A degree in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, Chiropractic, Rehabilitation Counselling or Psychology (Provisional and Fully Registered); Full registration with AHPRA/ASORC/ESSA; Full Australian working rights; A valid driver’s licence

Nice to have

12 months + experience working in a similar position; 2+ years minimum clinical experience in a relevant profession; Empathy; Commitment to doing good work
