Soft Count Team

Responsible for the removal of and transit of incoming monetary items into the Vault from the Gaming floor. Responsible for the sorting and counting of all monetary items received from the pull team. Verifies, balances, and records all incoming monetary items from the cash storage/bill validation boxes. Ensure that all guidelines are met as they pertain to the gaming regulations, as pursuant to the National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC), Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS), Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS), State Gaming Compact and all policies and procedures, as it pertains to the gaming operations and objectives of the Otoe-Missouria Tribe and 7 CLANS CASINOS.

Responsibilities

Removal of and transit of incoming monetary items into the Vault from the Gaming floor; sorting and counting all monetary items received from the pull team; verifying, balancing, and recording incoming monetary items from cash storage/bill validation boxes; maintaining security of designated keys, pull carts, cash boxes, and gaming machines; removal and replacement of secured cash boxes in labeled machines and carts; counting income cash or other monetary items from bill validation boxes; examining monetary items to detect counterfeit, mutilated, and worn bills; transferring funds to main vault; greeting guests and maintaining proactive guest service; ensuring compliance with gaming regulations

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age; High School Diploma (or equivalent); Must be punctual and dependable in reporting to work as scheduled and completing assigned tasks; Read, write, and speak the English language; Must be willing and able to workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays; Must be able to provide all documents required to show eligibility to work in the United States; Required to pass a drug test and obtain and maintain a gaming license from the Otoe-Missouria Gaming Commission; Must be able to lift at least 20 lbs and push, pull or drag up to 50 lbs; Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
