Responsibilities

Responsible for purchasing component parts and managing supplier relationships across the global supply chain.; Lead management of quality complaints for purchased parts, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis.; Conduct supplier performance follow-up regarding material quality, compliance, and delivery metrics.; Develop and implement quality agreements with suppliers, establishing clear expectations and performance standards.; Drive corrective and continuous improvement activities with suppliers to enhance product quality and reduce defects.; Serve as Supplier Quality Management Lead, overseeing supplier quality initiatives and strategic partnerships.; Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective and preventive actions to address performance gaps.; Coordinate improvement projects both internally and at supplier facilities to optimize quality and efficiency.; Manage cost recovery control and coordinate cost-related discussions with Business Units and suppliers.; Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company specifications.; Maintain comprehensive quality documentation, records, and traceability systems for all purchased components.; Develop and deliver supplier training programs to enhance quality awareness and capability across the supply chain.

Requirements

3+ years of professional experience in supplier quality, quality engineering, supply chain management, manufacturing, or related quality management roles.; Strong understanding of quality management systems, preventive quality processes, and problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5Why, Shainin, 6 Sigma, Kepner-Tregoe, or equivalent tools).; Demonstrated expertise in quality management skills including planning, coordinating, prioritizing, and communicating complex tasks within cross-functional teams, with strong risk assessment and escalation capabilities.; Proven experience conducting supplier audits, assessments, and quality compliance evaluations against industry standards and regulatory requirements.; Proficiency in developing and implementing quality agreements, corrective and preventive action programs, and continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers.; Experience managing quality documentation, traceability systems, and maintaining comprehensive records for purchased components and materials.; Familiarity with key performance indicators (KPIs), supplier performance metrics, and data-driven decision-making in a supply chain environment.; Willingness to work collaboratively in an international team environment with the ability to adapt to diverse project requirements and cultural differences.; Experience with supplier cost management, cost recovery processes, and cost-related negotiations with business units.; Proficiency in English and Spanish, knowledge of German or other languages is a plus.
