JOB SUMMARY

This role will be supporting the day-to-day Transportation Operation activities. This position will be responsible for interacting with both internal and external customers.

Base Compensation: $21/ hour

Responsibilities

Ensure dispatching of loads to all carriers and brokers; Oversee the entire transportation process from our shipping docks to the final customer location; Monitor and report driver issues such as accidents, safety concerns, or weather issues; Work closely with sales, shipping, claims, and other departments to problem solve and find solutions involving transportation matters; Work well within our Transportation team and Customer Service; Ensure trucks are checked-in and have correct pickup numbers; Participate in Carrier Score carding; Help the team achieve key performance metrics

Requirements

High School Diploma; 1-2 years’ experience preferred; Must maintain excellent attendance; Strong decision-making abilities; Clear communication skills with the ability to talk to all levels of our organization; Advanced computer skills required with preference in Oracle Warehouse Management and Oracle Transportation Management systems; Analytical and strategic thinking skills with proven problem-solving ability; Basic knowledge of DOT trucking regulations preferred
