Senior Murex IT Consultant

We are supporting one of our global clients in the technology sector, serving the financial industry, in their search for an experienced Senior Murex IT Consultant focused on the Market Risk module. In this role, you will be key in the configuration, development, certification, and deployment of complex Murex solutions. You will work closely with Risk and Functional teams, utilizing your deep technical and functional knowledge to support mission-critical applications.

This is a specialist role for a seasoned engineer proficient in Murex v3, who is ready to take responsibility for the stability and enhancement of the Market Risk infrastructure in a fully remote setup in Poland.

What we expect

• Senior MUREX IT Consultant – Specialist Support / Market Risk MUREX projects.

• At least 6 years of professional experience with MUREX installations and deep knowledge of the MRB MUREX Risk module (filesystem configuration, GUI configurations, and executions).

• MUREX installation in v3 experience.

• Deep application knowledge related to services, standard menus, logs, and GUI.

• Experience with EOD processes, Datamart, Extractions, PS, BoF, and MDRS (Market Data).

• Proven experience in opening and managing cases with the MUREX provider.

• Minimum knowledge about the full installation of new MUREX binaries/patches.

• MRB Market Risk Knowledge: Minimum knowledge about VaR calculations in Murex.

• Practical experience with MRB module full installation, MRB menus and services, Scenario containers, scenario imports.

• Familiarity with the execution of RUNS, EXPORTS, VaR calculations, and Ant-scripts configurations for automatic executions.

• Proficiency in ORACLE/SQL for database tasks.

• Strong knowledge of Shell Scripting, JavaScript, and Python.

• Practical experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA/GITHUB.
