For our client from Gliwice, we are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join an existing team.
Your new role
The IT Support Engineer is responsible for delivering high-quality IT support services to end users across the company, ensuring a reliable and efficient digital workplace.
This role goes beyond traditional support by contributing to continuous improvement, automation, and user experience, working closely with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and application teams in a product-oriented IT model.
End-User Support & Operations
- Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support for end users (on-site and remote)
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Support workplace technologies (laptops, mobile devices, printers, collaboration tools)
- Ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests in line with SLAs
Digital Workplace Experience
- Support and improve Microsoft 365 environment (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
- Assist users in adopting digital tools and new technologies
- Contribute to improving the overall Digital Employee Experience (DEX)
- Identify recurring issues and propose improvements
Security & Compliance
- Follow and enforce IT security policies and procedures
- Support identity and access management processes (user provisioning, access changes)
- Ensure endpoint security standards (patching, antivirus, device compliance)
- Act as the first line of defence in identifying potential security incidents
Device & Endpoint Management
- Manage endpoints using tools like Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager
- Perform device provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management
- Support software deployment and updates
- Maintain asset inventory and documentation
Service Management & Continuous Improvement
- Work within ITIL processes (incident, request, problem, change)
- Document solutions and contribute to the knowledge base
- Identify automation opportunities (e.g., scripting, self-service)
- Collaborate with other IT teams to improve services
Collaboration & Communication
- Act as a key point of contact between IT and business users
- Communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders
- Support onboarding of new employees (IT setup, access, guidance)
- Work in an international environment with distributed teams
What you'll need to succeed • Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of experience in IT support or similar role
• Experience in supporting end users in a corporate environment
Technical Skills
• Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 ecosystem
• Basic networking (VPN, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP)
• Endpoint management (Intune or similar tools)
• Active Directory / Entra ID (user and access management)
• ITSM tools (e.g., FreshService, ServiceNow or similar)
