Childcare Assistant - After School Club at Wolvercote Primary School

We are seeking Childcare Support staff to join our after-school provision at Wolvercote Primary School. Following recent building refurbishments and school expansions, our site features modern indoor spaces and extensive outdoor grounds where pupils aged 4 to 11 can play, move, and relax safely after the school day ends.

Responsibilities

Supervising outdoor play; Leading sports and games; Facilitating daily snack times; Supporting the personal development and wellbeing of pupils aged 4 to 11

Requirements

Proven experience of working effectively and empathetically with children; The ability to encourage positive play, outdoor movement, and active participation; An understanding of child development and emotional needs; Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach; Resilience, adaptable problem-solving skills, and the enthusiasm to share your interests with pupils
