Director - Supply Chain Procurement - FT - Days - MSS

Responsible for Directing, planning, organizing, controlling and overseeing personnel of the daily activities of the centralized system-wide Supply Chain Procurement department that operates efficiently and meets the needs of all entities within Memorial Healthcare System. Leads the Procurement strategies within the healthcare system. Oversees all procurement activities for the healthcare system as it relates to supplies, equipment, construction, and services. Reports to Vice President Supply Chain Management.

Responsibilities

Directing, planning, organizing, controlling and overseeing personnel of the daily activities of the centralized system-wide Supply Chain Procurement department; Leads the Procurement strategies within the healthcare system; Oversees all procurement activities for the healthcare system as it relates to supplies, equipment, construction, and services; Oversees resolution of supply chain shortages; Collaborates with Value Analysis, Strategic Sourcing and stakeholders to establish potential substitutions/inventory levels; Establishes and implements policies and procedures ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies; Monitors and evaluates Supply Chain Procurement compliance and performance; Maximizes use of Group Purchasing Organization; Provides strategic thinking and direction to establish a leading practice supply chain procurement model; Creates Procurement strategies to include process and execution system-wide; Leads workgroups, creates work plans, deliverables, desired outcomes and saving estimates; Monitors market and industry trends; Assists VP of Supply Chain with planning; Prepares, monitors, and evaluates Supply Chain department budgets; Responsible for Cost Savings target; Directs System-wide Disaster Preparedness and Supply Chain Emergency activities; Hires and manages performance of personnel; Accountable for the Procure to Pay process; Establishes and maintains professional and ethical vendor relationships; Leads construction projects and equipment procurement in relation to Supply Chain needs; Creates and monitors KPIs for areas of responsibility and staff productivity

Requirements
