Compensation (Draw / Uncapped Commission)

- $80,000 - $150,000+ / year

Responsibilities

Responsible for calling, following up and scheduling appointments for customers to come in and appraise and purchase their used vehicles.; Utilize CRM for prospecting and lead generation.; Interface with current used vehicle owners from appointments set and dealership service drive with the purpose of purchasing their vehicle.; Approach, greet, and engage with dealership customers to appraise and offer to purchase their current vehicles.; Appraise used vehicles by asking questions, taking pictures of the vehicles, and inputting vehicle data into Sonic's automated inventory management system.; Work with Sales Managers to build and propose an offer to seller.; Introduces guest to sales department personnel to sell them a new vehicle after purchase of their existing vehicle.; Review monthly goals with management on vehicles purchased to better utilize time and plans more effectively.

Requirements

Minimum 1+ years of experience in automotive purchasing, acquisitions, and appraisals.; Strong ability to engage with customers effectively, build rapport, and address their needs and concerns professionally.; Excellent verbal communication skills with a persuasive and articulate demeanor over the phone.; Ability to persistently pursue leads, maintaining a positive attitude throughout.; Comfortable using CRM software and productivity tools to manage leads and track progress.; Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.; Must be authorized to work in the USA.; Must be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements: Drug testing, background check, MVR.
