1st Shift Field Service Technician - Omaha

Daniels Health is looking for a Field Service Technician to join our team and help support hospitals with critical medical waste services. This is not a desk job; the role involves being on your feet, moving, lifting, and making a real impact every day.

Responsibilities

Working directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation; Inspecting and servicing Daniels Health containers in clinical areas, including entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients; Lifting containers (up to 50 lbs) and pushing/pulling carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day; Maintaining inventory of containers and ensuring all areas are stocked and organized; Using a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with the team; Keeping staging areas clean and orderly before and after service; Representing Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic

Requirements

Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting; Personal transportation to both work sites; Ability to work as a team player and independently without direct supervision; Strong attention to detail, especially with paperwork and procedures; Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between assigned locations; Can-do attitude and previous experience in a labor-intensive or logistics role
