Starting wage is $15-20/hr depending on experience. We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Assistant Manager to join our team at our location in Princeton, United States. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction in our fast-paced food service environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing daily store operations, including staff scheduling and inventory management; Ensure high standards of food quality, preparation, and safety are maintained; Oversee and participate in customer order processing, both in-person and over the phone; Train and supervise team members on proper equipment operation and store procedures; Manage inventory levels, including receiving deliveries and stocking items; Maintain a clean and organized work environment; Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally; Assist in implementing and maintaining company policies and procedures; Support the store manager in achieving sales targets and operational goals; Perform administrative tasks such as record-keeping and reporting

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food service industry; Strong leadership and team management skills; Excellent verbal and written communication abilities; Proficiency in operating point-of-sale systems and other relevant equipment; Basic math skills for inventory management and cash handling; Ability to read maps and navigate delivery areas efficiently; Knowledge of food preparation and safety standards; Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills; Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment; Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays; Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and navigate stairs; Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude
