Automotive Technician - FT

In this role, your work directly supports vehicle performance and availability—helping ensure customers can get on the road with confidence. As an Automotive Mechanic (B Tech), you will perform essential mechanical repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles with minimal technical supervision. Responsibilities may include oil and fluid services, tire repairs, brake work, suspension repairs, and other routine maintenance or warranty-related repairs based on experience level. You may also support senior technicians with more complex diagnostic and repair work as you continue to build your skills.

Responsibilities

Perform essential mechanical repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles with minimal technical supervision; May include oil and fluid services, tire repairs, brake work, suspension repairs, and other routine maintenance or warranty-related repairs; May support senior technicians with more complex diagnostic and repair work; Maintain vehicle reliability and safety to reduce downtime and ensure vehicles are ready when customers need them

Requirements

Valid Driver's License and good driving record; Minimum of 2 years of professional auto repair experience or automotive coursework with certifications; At least 1 ASE certification, with ability to obtain 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year; Working knowledge of ASE certification areas including Engine Repair, Drivetrain/Axles, Suspension/Steering, Brakes, Electrical, Heating/Air Conditioning, Engine Performance, and Light Vehicle/Diesel; Comfortable working in a mechanical shop with moderate to loud noise levels; Must have a complete set of tools required for automotive repair and maintenance; Basic computer skills, including typing and data entry; Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, continuously stand, bend, reach, walk, sit and kneel frequently, enter, exit and drive vehicles; Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States; This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely
