Behavioral Health Clinician

Provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of acute psychiatric patients.

Responsibilities

Provides individual, group and family therapy with assigned patients. (70%); Conducts an individual comprehensive evaluation for assigned patients. (10%); Completes all documentation according to regulatory requirements (e.g. treatment plans, progress notes). (10%); Attends all required departmental/hospital meetings. (10%); Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

Master's degree in a relevant field; Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) or other Behavioral Specialist license; CPR – American Heart Association; Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate; Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate; Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate

Nice to have

Older Adults Protective Services Act (OAPSA) clearance; Prior counseling experience in a behavioral health setting
