Brunswick New York Mills - Sander/Grinder/Foamer

This person is responsible for the preparation of boats for the paint process.

Responsibilities

Prepare boat for paint process with exceptional attention to detail; Responsible for sanding the sides and bottom of boat; Sanders need to retrieve their own tools and parts off the shelves to complete job; Grind and sand bows and transoms; Inject rotation foam into the boat hull; Ability to maintain process documentation; Actively promote and participate in safety; Work Overtime as required

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED; Must be able to read drawings and blueprints; Ability to be respirator certified to wear a fresh air supplied respirator; Ability to follow established safety process to handle chemicals and equipment; Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and adapt to changing situations with attention to detail; Must be able to work as a team and independently; Regularly required to lift parts and pieces up to 50 lbs.; Regularly required to work at heights on platforms; Vision protection and steel-toed shoes required

Nice to have

Experience using an orbital sander and 7” grinder preferred or similar power tools.
