Business Systems Analyst

Akur8 is a fast-growing InsurTech scale-up on a mission to help insurers make better decisions, faster. You will join Akur8's Corporate Development team and report to the Business Systems Manager. As Business Systems Analyst, you will help shape the tools and processes. Your main focus will be Salesforce, alongside tools such as Gong, HubSpot and other applications in the internal stack. This role is based in the Paris office.

Responsibilities

Understanding team processes and requirements, identifying gaps and helping stakeholders define clearer ways of working; Translating business needs into clear functional requirements and practical technical solutions; Configuring and implementing new features, processes and tools, while developing knowledge of relevant technologies; Creating user documentation, training teams and supporting the adoption of new features and processes; Answering questions, investigating issues and identifying opportunities for further improvements; Main focus on Salesforce, alongside tools such as Gong, HubSpot and other applications in the internal stack

Requirements

1+ years of experience (including internships/apprenticeships) involved in IT projects functionally and/or technically; Master's degree from an engineering school, or management school with IT specialisation, or equivalent; Good understanding of data modelling; Able (or willing to learn) to read and understand code logic; Organized, thorough and able to think clearly through complex topics; Ability to listen carefully, synthesize information and turn detailed analysis into clear, actionable plans; Clear communication with different stakeholders and ability to explain complex topics in a practical way; Takes ownership of work and operates with a high degree of autonomy; Strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English; Happy working in a multicultural environment; Must possess an employment status that allows work from the Paris office
