Care Assistant

As a CAREGiver, you will provide a variety of non-medical services to help them keep independent in their own home. No experience is required as full training is provided.

Responsibilities

Provide a variety of non-medical services to help clients stay independent in their own home; personal care (toileting, assisting with personal hygiene); meal preparation; medication prompts; homecare (washing, laundry, general cleaning); companionship (accompanying clients to shops, pharmacies, social groups and activities); support for clients with Alzheimer's and dementia

Requirements

Passion for supporting others; reliable, trustworthy and respectful; enjoy building professional friendships; comfortable spending time in the company of others; able to travel to visit clients in their own homes

Nice to have

Experience working in the care setting or with older people; personal experience of caring for a family member; voluntary experience
