Concessions Cook - Darien Lake Amphitheater

This position is responsible for preparing and cooking food items that result in high quality of taste and appearance to satisfy guests and maximize food revenues.

Responsibilities

Preparing and cooking food items that result in high quality of taste and appearance to satisfy guests and maximize food revenues; Observing and practicing all established health and sanitation procedures; Ensuring all products are prepared, held and served at correct temperatures; Ensuring the proper rotation, labeling and dating of all products; Using the proper utensils and portions at all times; Keeping work area clean, sanitized, and organized; Keeping management informed of food quantities and quality in prep, on the line and in holding cabinets; Coordinating orders to ensure they are cooked timely and with accuracy; Assisting with re-stocking of all paper supplies and food items as needed; Assisting other positions when needed; Performing all opening and closing procedures as indicated in the Employee Training Manual; Complying with all applicable health and safety regulations.

Requirements

6 months+ experience in food preparation in a fast paced environment; Must be able to interact verbally and listen attentively to co-workers and supervisors; Ability to follow written and oral direction; Ability to work under pressure and independently; Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.
