As a Line Cook in our fine dining steakhouse, you will play a key role in both daily preparation and service, ensuring each dish meets the highest standards of quality and consistency.

Responsibilities

Participate in daily line checks; Assist with banquet prep and execution to the Chef's specifications; Help maintain a clean, organized environment in all walk-ins and storage areas; Follow all health and safety regulations; Take part in daily sanitation walk-throughs to ensure full compliance; Support front-of-house staff by providing accurate information on daily specials; Follow all directives from chefs and supervisors with professionalism and attention to detail

Requirements

1-2 years of previous fine dining cooking experience is preferred; Knowledge of health and sanitation standards; Proper cooking techniques and knife skills; Food Knowledge; Lift up to 25 - 30 lbs; Stand for long periods; Navigate crowded spaces; Flexibility in bending and reaching; Adaptability to casino conditions, including bright lights and noise; Able to obtain/maintain necessary licenses and/or certifications as required by local gaming regulations; Able to obtain/maintain Food Handlers Serv Safe certifications as required by the Lake County Health Department regulations
