Customer Experience Associate

Weis Markets is looking for a Customer Experience Associate at its store in Burnham, PA (035). The role focuses on customer service, front end checkout, cash handling, and department sanitation. The position currently has no supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Smiles and greets customers, answers customer questions and helps resolve customer concerns promptly in a polite and professional manner; Operates front end scanning equipment and cash register, including bagging merchandise and placing it in customer carts; Maintains accuracy during transactions, collects appropriate funds (cash, checks, electronic payment, coupons) and follows cash drawer accounting procedures; Follows store and legal guidelines for the sale of tobacco and alcohol; Maintains knowledge of weekly ads, marketing promotions and store layout; Maintains general sanitation of the department and follows cleaning schedules and health and OSHA requirements; Cooperates with co-workers and supervisors and works to continuously improve job performance; Uses all company-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE); May assist in other departments as needed

Requirements

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) completed or in progress; No prior experience required
