Data Scientist (GenAI focus) M/F

Your new company 

For our client from Katowice, we are looking for 2 Data Scientists who will join an existing team.

Your new role 

• In this role, you will translate business requirements into analytical use cases (Generative AI and Machine Learning) and drive innovation and efficiency across the Group.
• You will effectively analyse business use cases regarding feasibility and effort estimation based on the company’s data model, including data quality and necessary preprocessing steps.
• You will apply state-of-the-art GenAI design patterns (incl. Agentic Workflows) and machine learning techniques to address business stakeholder needs.
• In addition, you will critically evaluate AI solutions and analyses using metrics to validate the achievement of business objectives and recommend improvements.
• You will communicate results with cross-functional project members and stakeholders, using clear presentations and understandable visualisations of insights.
• Finally, you will utilise cloud services and self-programmed (Python) applications to develop a production-ready AI/ML solution.

What you'll need to succeed 

• Qualification: You have a master’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Physics, Bioinformatics, or other quantitative fields with AI/ML relations.
• Experience: You bring more than 4 years of professional experience in the field of Data Science/Data Analytics with a proven track record in Data Science projects.
• Know-how and skills: You have excellent programming skills (in Python); visualisation of complex data; very good experience with cloud services and Data Science-related components (especially in Microsoft Azure).
• GenAI: You have gained strong experience with Generative AI (GenAI) and/or Agentic AI solutions in business projects solving real-world challenges.
• Personality: You are a team player, curious, with initiative and motivation to work in an agile, international and interdisciplinary environment.
• Language skills: You are fluent in English; German language skills would be a plus.
