Field Care Supervisor

As a Senior Care Assistant, you'll support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care across our community services, leading by example in the field and supporting both service users and care colleagues. You'll combine hands-on care with supervision and quality assurance, spending most of your time in the community with some office-based duties. Shifts are full-time and part-time (9 am – 5 pm), with an element of on-call duty including alternative weekends. We are unable to offer sponsorship to applicants.

Responsibilities

Support and review individual care packages, including needs and risk assessments; Work with Care Coordinators to support effective rota planning; Supervise, mentor, and support Care Assistants in the field; Shadow new starters and carry out observations and competency checks; Take part in multi-disciplinary reviews and complete accurate records; Support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care across community services; Lead by example in the field

Requirements

Experience in care is essential; Commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality support; Naturally caring and compassionate; Confident and reliable; Experienced in completing needs and risk assessments; Comfortable working with service users, families, and healthcare professionals; Willing to support, guide, and develop others; Full UK driving licence; Access to your own vehicle
