Full Stack Software Engineer, Sales Platform

The Enterprise Platform Technology (EPT) team builds internal software for OpenAI's go-to-market teams, helping streamline workflows and improve decision-making. As a full-stack Software Engineer on EPT, you will build web applications, integrations, and shared platform capabilities, own architecture decisions, and partner with business and engineering teams to improve seller workflows and develop intelligent workflow experiences. The role is based in San Francisco, CA, with a hybrid model of 3 days in the office per week.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver full-stack web applications and integrations that support go to market workflows; Define platform and application boundaries that let other teams extend go to market systems while protecting sensitive data, reliability, and data integrity; Work with product and business partners to prioritize useful capabilities, including intelligent experiences informed by relevant business context

Requirements

5+ years of professional software engineering experience, excluding internships, on product-driven teams; Experience building large-scale, full-stack software applications in collaboration with cross-functional teams; Make sound architecture and product decisions for connected systems, with attention to sensitive data, reliability, and maintainability; Communicate clearly and collaborate across engineering and business teams

Nice to have

Agentic-system experience; Experience with Python/FastAPI and React (not required)
