We are looking for someone to join our team that can do a variety of home services exceptionally well. Someone we can trust to do the work correctly the FIRST time. We are a premier handyman service and your work need to reflect that. Some work you will do right away includes, Drywall repair, TV wall mounting, fence repair and building, furniture assembly. You must be able to find solutions to customer problems.

Responsibilities

Complete a variety of home services including drywall repair, TV wall mounting, fence repair and building, furniture assembly; Find solutions to customer problems; Complete small to medium maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects, with project length ranging from two hours to two days; Make recommendations and manage expectations with customers about scope of work and costs; Create life-long customers by delivering a great experience and following the Mr. Handyman Way; Self-manage as you will be alone often; Speak with customers and provide excellent customer service while asking for reviews and collecting payments; Have necessary tools, including the ability to use technology; Document the job while following the Mr. Handyman Way; Wear proper PPE and booties to protect the customer's home

Requirements

Live within the area; Have 8+ years’ experience as a paid handyman; Own your own tools; Be insurable for driving our vehicle; Complete a background and driving record check; Able to lift 50 pounds independently; Able to safely work at heights and work overhead for extended periods of time; Professional appearance and maintenance of company-provided vehicle; Strong proficiency in at least three of the following: Carpentry work, Bathroom improvements, Kitchen improvements, Painting both inside and out, Drywall work minor and major repairs, General plumbing and electrical where allowed by law, Floor installation and refurbishing, Familiar with building codes
