House Keeper

Join our dedicated team at Bolton Hospital as a part-time Housekeeper! As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring our veterinary clinic remains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff, clients, and their beloved pets.

Responsibilities

Cleaning staff and clinical areas, such as consulting rooms, waiting room and communal spaces to a high standard; Handling clinical waste in compliance with health and safety regulations; Adhering to COSHH guidelines; Ensuring hygiene and cleanliness are maintained in line with hospital protocols; Performing weekly health and safety checks and reporting as required

Requirements

Experience in cleaning or housekeeping; Knowledge of or willingness to learn COSHH and clinical waste handling; Willingness to take responsibility for regular health and safety checks such as fire alarm and legionella testing and reporting; Dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in their work; Ability to work independently and manage time effectively; Organised, reliable, and passionate about maintaining a clean and safe environment

Nice to have

Experience in cleaning or housekeeping in a medical or clinical setting (preferred but not essential)
