Internal Posting-PIT/MH Operator 1st Stock

In this role you will have the opportunity to ensure safe material handling duties. Our fast-paced work environment requires that our forklift and other powered industrial trucks are operated in a safe and efficient manner. You will play a key role in ensuring we meet daily production demands while also complying with our expectations for safe PIT operation.

Responsibilities

Safely operate powered industrial truck, always putting associate safety above production output; Move product utilizing various types of powered industrial trucks, including sit down and stand up; Utilize handheld scanner and E-21 or Great Plains to accurately place and retrieve needed materials in a timely manner; Responsible for daily PIT inspections; Other duties as assigned or defined by the area Supervisor or Group Lead

Requirements

High School Graduate/HSE or equivalent manufacturing experience; Ability to obtain Fork Lift Certification; Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; Ability to run respective inventory system (Great Plains, E21, MES etc.); Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; Ability to complete daily Pre-Use Inspection Sheets
