Medior IT Business Analyst

Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through workshops, interviews, and data analysis; Translate needs into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and clear acceptance criteria; Collaborate with Engineering and QA to clarify requirements, support implementation, and validate delivered functionality; Model current and future state processes (e.g., BPMN/UML diagrams, flowcharts) and identify improvement opportunities; Support Agile ceremonies (refinement, planning, reviews) by ensuring requirements are ready and well understood; Assist with UAT planning and execution: test scenarios, support business users, track issues through resolution; Identify and manage dependencies, assumptions, and risks; communicate effectively with stakeholders; Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing (Confluence or similar)

Requirements

2–4 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or similar role; Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams and translating requirements into deliverables; Ability to write clear user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria; Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; comfort working with complex systems; Strong communication skills and ability to facilitate conversations between technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have

Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; Familiarity with APIs/integrations and ability to read basic technical documentation; Experience with tools such as Jira/Confluence, Miro, Visio, draw.io
